A review of a Mogwai concert uses many of the same adjectives as one might use to describe a Sigur Ros show — intense, majestic, orchestral, etc. But the fact remains that Mogwai are superb musicians who create songs of transformation that entrance and captivate the listener. At Music Hall on Wednesday night, Mogwai completed their three-show run with a flawless performance, and the strongest set of the three nights. This night was highlighted by the lengthy encore segment containing three songs, that included the classic “Mogwai Fear Satan”.
Acidjack recorded this set from the prime location in this venue, and captured a recording of exceptional clairity and balance. Enjoy!

Thanks a lot! I was there and this show was amazing. Wished you had been there on Monday as well.
Thanks! As allways high quality sound.
The Tuesday 4/28 was also recorded and will be up on the site very soon.
Thank you for taping, posting, sharing etc.
So did you manage to tape The Twilight Sad’s sets?
Unfortunately, I was not able to tape Twilight Sad either night, as I arrived at the venue during their sets. Hope to catch them again in the future.
this recording is fucking AWESOME. thanks so much, as always.
These recordings are fantastic; crisp, balanced and an appropriate amount of fan noise, accurately capturing what a Mogwai show sounds/feels like.
Thank you for sharing these with us all!
Just got around to listening to this — Holy hell it is great.
Thanks so much for posting this (and the previous night’s set as well!)
