I really hate that it has happened, but this great show is now getting buzz for the wrong reason. This is the “naked guy” show, something I tried to ignore in my write up, but which is apparently getting quite a bit of buzz.

I was the guy who jumped the stage in the red shirt at the end of the show during Rappaport’s Testament. The security guy knocked me off the stage, Ted being the gentleman that he is took his guitar off and helped me back on the stage; I love that man.
Yes, that was quite absurd. The security let “naked guy” knock into Ted, smash the microphone onto his head, throw crap into the audience (including shoes), take off his clothes, and generally thrash around the stage. It was amazing to me that they didn’t stop it.
And then when you guys came up at the end of the show, clearly there for a number that invited participation, the security decided to start pushing people off the stage. Ted had to tell the guy “they’re ok”, which should have been obvious.
Thanks so much! Had no idea there was an impending hiatus. I would certainly have caught the shows at the 9:30 in DC. Bummed!! But, at least I’ve got this to check out. Can’t Wait!! All the best…

nyctaper quit your whining already man, no one cares, everyone had a good time except for you. You’ve shown up on every blog to complain about this show and no one else cares, so stop being a ninny and get over it.
I had a great time, except for the 5 minutes that “naked idiot” was on stage. Especially since I had to catch his shoe rather than let it hit the people next to me. And you’re not reading very well. I haven’t complained about the show, the show was fantastic. That is, except for the jerkoff who almost ruined it.
Thanks for this post. You did a great job recording. I’ve had a problem with track 22 (CIA). Whether downloading from here or from Dime it won’t decode in flac. All the other tracks are fine, so I don’t think it’s anything I’m doing or not doing. Any ideas?

Are you using the song title at any point in the process? Because sometimes when a song title has punctuation sometimes it causes problems in some software (C.I.A.). That’s the only thing I can think of, I have not received any other complaints, and have successfully converted it after downloading from the server. Over 400 people have downloaded this show.

You are quite wrong, I enjoyed this show a lot, except for the idiotic thrashing around the stage. If that was you, and suspect it was, you should be thankful that I recorded this show. That way you can hear the last half the show that you missed standing on N. 6th Street with security standing around you. That sounds like a real “enjoying” experience.
