We are a few days behind the news cycle on this show. If you’re an Of Montreal fan, by now you have read about the concert at Roseland on Friday night, and its extraordinary and thoroughly original stage show. Suffice to say, we have never seen a concert where a song was performed on top of a white horse, or where the lead singer sang several numbers dressed as the Pope (in red), or where the lead singer was dropped realistically from an old style hangman’s noose.
Musically, this was by far the longest Of Montreal show we have seen, and outlasted last year’s Roseland show by more than forty minutes. While the setlist drew heavily from Skeletal Lamping, there were an equal number of selections from the previous three albums and one memorable cover — 24 songs in total.
After last year’s difficult time at Roseland, we made a persistent effort to arrange all the recording permissions in advance for this show. Thanks to Michael the Of Montreal road manager, The Late B.P. Helium, and the Roseland crew, this recording outing was perfect in all respects. We captured this concert from the front and center of the balcony railing. While the distance from the stage was greater than last year, we are extremely pleased with the soundstage and depth of this recording. Enjoy!

Thanks so much!
Could you all stop downloading the MP3s? My download rate is too slow!
Looks like it was an awesome show. That’s a real horse!
Thanks so much as always.
Can you possibly upload the Love Is All recording too? Thank you!
Definitely. I am recording them again tonight and I will put both recordings up together in the next few days.
Thanks, this is excellent! It’s great to see that they still play Wraith even after the continuous reincarnations from Outback. Takin’ it back!
Is there any way to download each song separately and not in a zipped file. My computer will never be able to download it all without taking a year to do it.
I believe that the Booty Patrol site has posted a mirror download site which may be faster:

NYCTaper, you are the best! The quality of this is so fabulous (even as MP3s). I saw OM in London on Thursday and was totally blown away – so cool to have some live recordings to remember it by. Thanks a million as ever, and keep up the fabulous work!

this show was f*cking insane!
I downloaded the MP3 versions of this and the June 16 Sigur Rós show, and I’ve listened to both on Winamp. (Both actions are crimes against nature to some folks perusing this site, I’m sure. ^.^)
With both recordings, I’m getting little hiccups at the track divisions during playback, a problem I don’t normally have with Winamp. Has anyone noticed this with either the MP3 or FLAC downloads? It’s most noticeable through headphones.
Aside from that little low-level nuisance, though, both shows were worth the 32-hour download time. Thanks to both nyctaper and oneforthegooddays for their work!
Anybody have the Rothbury set on July 3rd of this year with a link to download.
Thanks in advance!
I get an error for the mp3 zip after download saying there are no files in to extract OR that it’s corrupted. does anyone know what’s up with that? I want this concert so bad!!!
